We hope that you and your family have a joyous and fulfilling new year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pursuant to the Labor Code No. 45\/2019\/QH14, enacted by the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on November 20, 2019, each year, officials, civil servants, employees, and workers nationwide are entitled to a one-day holiday on New Year&#8217;s Day (January 1st) and at least five days off for Lunar New Year, with full pay for these days. The specific dates for the Lunar New Year holiday are determined by the employer, who may choose between one day at the end of the lunar year and four days at the beginning, or two days at the end and three days at the beginning of the lunar year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Article 112. Public holidays and New Year holidays<\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u200bWorkers are entitled to fully paid days off on the following public holidays and New Year holidays:<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a) New Year Holiday according to the Gregorian calendar: 01 day (the 1st of January according to the Gregorian calendar).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">b) Lunar New Year Holidays: 05 days.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">c) Victory Day: 01 day: 01 day (the 30th of April according to the Gregorian calendar).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">d) International Labour Day: 01 day (the 1st of May according to the Gregorian calendar).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">dd) National Day: 02 days (the 2nd of September according to the Gregorian calendar and 01 preceding or following day).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">e) Commemorative Celebration of the Hung Kings: 01 day (the 10th of March according to the Lunar calendar).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u200bForeign workers in Viet Nam are entitled to 01 traditional New Year\u2019s day and 01 National Day of their country, in addition to the holidays stipulated in Clause 1 of this Article.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u200bEach year, based on the actual situation, the Prime Minister shall decide the dates of the holidays stipulated in Clause 1(b) and 1(dd) of this Article.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For employees who have 01 day off\/week (on Sunday)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2013 Employees are entitled to 1 day off on January 1, 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2013 In case the employee goes to work on January 1, 2021, he or she will be paid at least 300% of the salary calculated according to the salary unit price or actual salary paid according to the job being done, not including salary for holidays, New Year, etc. Paid days off for daily wage workers.<\/span><\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For officials, civil servants, public employees and employees in state agencies, public service units, political organizations, and socio-political organizations<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Officials, civil servants, public employees and employees are entitled to 03 consecutive days off from January 1, 2021 to January 3, 2021, including:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2013 01 day off for New Year (January 1, 2021);<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2013 02 days off weekly (on January 2, 2021 and January 3, 2021).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/taphalaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/HPNY.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4318\" src=\"https:\/\/taphalaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/HPNY.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/taphalaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/HPNY.jpg 600w, https:\/\/taphalaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/HPNY-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/taphalaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/1a.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4316\" src=\"https:\/\/taphalaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/1a.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"625\" height=\"438\" srcset=\"https:\/\/taphalaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/1a.jpg 625w, https:\/\/taphalaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/1a-300x210.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 625px) 100vw, 625px\" \/><\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4317\" src=\"https:\/\/taphalaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/2a.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"625\" height=\"438\" srcset=\"https:\/\/taphalaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/2a.jpg 625w, https:\/\/taphalaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/2a-300x210.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 625px) 100vw, 625px\" \/>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TAPHALAW would like to extend its best wishes for a happy and prosperous New Year 2021.
